Domestic Violence & Gun Violence Restraining Orders
Marin County Superior Court accepts electronically filed Domestic Violence and Gun Violence Restraining Orders, pursuant to SB 538.
Filings can be submitted through ePortal free of charge, or eFiling. Any filings submitted through eFiling may incur a charge from the EFSP (Electronic Filing Service Provider). Please note that eFiling is mandatory for all parties represented by attorneys. Self-represented parties may use eFiling but are not required to pursuant to CRC 2.253(b)(2) and CCP1010.6(f)(2).
For new Domestic Violence filings within an existing Family Law case (non-DCSS), or an open Domestic Violence case, party access is required.
